Grainge Rider

With shared backgrounds in architecture, interiors, design and fabrication, Edward Grainge and Kate Rider were resident at the Farm from 2012 to 2014. Their main projects included the Olympic Staircase, which recycled the former House of Flags, interlocking Sleeping Pods in the workshop dormitory, and the Grymsdyke Kitchen redesign and construction, involving CNC milled joinery, concrete cast work surface and integrated sink, and tessellating ceramic kitchen tiles. The pair now work from their London studio where they continue to collaborate with Grymsdyke Farm.
